She is also working towards her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. (NSCA). Emily has been involved in fitness and sports for the majority of her life. She competed in competitive volleyball since she was 13, and most of her training was focused on developing skills such as, speed and agility, weight-training, and plyometrics. Even though she never competed at the collegiate level, due to injuries, she has maintained her competitive nature and love for fitness. She attributes her many years as a competitive athlete to her passion for this field.
Emily is a fulltime student maintaining two part time jobs on top of her own fitness training and feels as though she has nearly mastered the art of time management! She believes that’s balance is necessary and feels confident in helping others achieve a healthy balance between work, personal life and fitness. One of Emily’s favorite inspirational quotes is, “It’s actually pretty simple, either you do it or you don’t” and she applies this quote to her training style. She will provide the tools, encouragement, and support necessary to help others achieve their goals, but believes ultimate success occurs mentality to a positive “I can!”
